Administration Officer

 

Haymerle School (Primary special)

 

Salary: Hay Grade 5 (Scale 6-13) £31,530. To £34,863 FTE dependant on experience.

Actual salary £27,919.83 to £30,871.21

 

Contract: 36 Hours per week, 40 weeks per year.

Commencement: July 2026

 

Term: Permanent

 

The Governors invites applications for the post of Administration Officer. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic candidate. Haymerle School is a primary Special School for pupils with Autism located in South East London. We support a wide range of learning disabilities including pupils with severe and complex social and communication difficulties. Haymerle School was judged a Good School in our December 2021 OFSTED inspection.

 

This is an opportunity for a candidate who:

 

•           Strongly support our vision and ethos

•           Has relevant qualifications at level 2 and beyond, as well as at least level 2 in English and Maths

•           Has experience of working in a school office environment

•           Previous experience of financial administration, including: raising purchase orders, updating the school’s financial system (Arbor Finance) seeking “Best Value”

•           Has previous experience of managing and administering pupil’s details on the school’s MIS system (Arbor)

•           Has excellent written and verbal communication skills

•           Has experience of organisational effectiveness in previous positions

•           Is an effective team player and can also work on their own initiative

•           Is committed to continuous improvement of school administration and professional excellence

•           Is committed to safeguarding children and are suitable to work with them

•           Would be a positive and enthusiastic role model for our pupils
